Wandering: Splendour Festival Wrap Up
In it’s fifteenth year, Splendour in the Grass drew big crowds despite the insanely muddy fields… and lucky us, we had our insiders, Catie Allen and Lucette Romy there to capture the event in all it’s muddy glory! We saw some impressive ensembles, from classic boho babes, gypsy queens in layered prints and of course, some serious seventies vibes…plus a few bananas. No, seriously!
Flares, long untamed hair, tassels, fringing and suede dominated the field and you can bet we are loving it. With festival season not too fair away, we’re scouring the Splendour style for our favourite looks. Lucette kicked off the weekend with our vintage Afghani Pashtun Dress.
Looking like a seventies dream, Annalise McLachlan rocked big bangs, flared sleeves, suede and a coin bra that we cannot stop talking about. It’s kind of amazing! She’s also rocking our Rodeo Tassel bag which suits her pure vintage look so well!
It’s exciting to see everyone embracing the high-waisted flared pants, not to mention the incredible fabrics used. We may have a case of serious style envy right now.
Ingrid Willo looks so sweet in her lace jumpsuit and suede fringed vest!
Our Gujarati Choli Top made an appearance here and there and it’s always awesome to see the various ways people style them!
Lucette rocked pieces from our Indigo Blues collection… Tiedye tights, Kabuki top & a Hilltribe backpack.
Totally loving this girl wearing our Splendour Skirt (available in stores only) belted at the waist with cowboy boots – stylish and practical for the copious amount of mud!
Lucky Mimi Elashiry scored this stunning sample dress from local Byron babes, Spell & Gypsy Collective.
This retro babe is definitely channeling some seventies style in our Splendour Top while Lucette looks cosy as the sun goes down in our Vintage Kantha coat (available in stores only).
Come find myself and @catieallen_creative at Splendour! We’ve got 5 x $50 gift cards for @treeoflife_love to give away to our fav festival babes ✨ A photo posted by Lucette Romy (@lucetteromy) on
