Wandering: Store Session Bondi
JESS FROM THE TREE OF LIFE BONDI STORE SHARES HER STYLING TIPS AS WELL AS DROPPING LITTLE LOCAL KNOWLEDGE.
Bondi is a fairly iconic suburb, known for it’s beautiful beaches but also for the locals and their signature style. With so many new pieces to work with in store right now, including our new collection Vintage Dragon and lots of classic Tree pieces including handblock prints straight from India, it’s hard to know exactly what will work.
How would you describe your store’s style?
At Bondi, we love to mix girly and grunge. The wrap pink skirt and a band tee work so well together, pop it with a colourful necklace and you’ve got a great statement outfit.
Overalls are an all the time wear in Bondi, super easy to throw on over the top of swimmers and get down the beach.
Could you define your regular customer style?
Our Bondi Tree babe is a ‘city meets the beach’ she is professional but also fun, if we can get an outfit to go from day to night it’ll get us through the summer months. She is a carefree boho beach wanderer. She can tell you if the tide is high or low, her crystals are rainbow moon stone (feminine energies) and turquoise which helps her take charge and empowers her.
What are your favourite cafes/bars/restaurants and why?
Nalini’s!! The best vegan food in all of Sydney. The turmeric lattes also are amazing.
The food markets also run on thursdays and fridays, they do amazing fresh fruit and veg.
What are some hidden treasures in your area?
We all love honeysuckle gardens, it’s hidden away treasure full of beautiful plants and different smells, the perfect place to relax during a busy day.
We also love going down to Queens park, which is about 10minutes away. There always so many dogs to play with
How do you relax in your suburb?
The best way to relax in Bondi Junction is to sit outside in the sunshine and get the sea breeze. During summer it’s super easy to jump on a bus down for a quick dip after work, that’s the perfect way to relax.
