Nerida has been with Tree for just over 2 years!
Claire has been with Tree close to four years now, starting out as a Christmas casual at the Ultimo store!

2. What’s the best thing about your job?
Claire:
The best thing is definitely getting to know our customers. At the Wollongong store we get a lot of regulars come in and I’ve really got to know them over the years of working with tree. One lady in particular that I’ve gotten to know was pregnant when I first started working and I’ve got to see her kid grow up over the years to be a cheeky little thing!

Nerida:
The best thing about working with Tree for me is helping a customer hunt down an outfit for an occasion, I love the feeling when you can see how good a customer is feeling in the clothing, it feels good knowing you helped them feel good about themselves.

3. What do you love most about our new collection Taste of Honey?
Rachael: I absolutely adore taste of honey. The colours are gorgeous and remind me so much of autumn, which being an April baby means when those leaves turn red and the air gets colder, I get happier.
I love how 70s I feel in it, pairing the cute mustards with old leather belts, hats, western boots and old silk headbands makes me wanna pump up ABBA and have a boogieTree Of Life Blog Wollongong Store SessionsTree Of Life Blog Wollongong Store SessionsTree Of Life Blog Wollongong Store Sessions

4. What is your favourite piece from the collection?
Rachael:The Mary dress and the Madhu pants are my absolute favourites and I cannot get past the Brown Afghan coat, which is exactly like the one my mum wore in her teens!

Claire:My fave piece of the new collection is definitely the return of the Afghan coat in blue! Also the Havana wrap skirt is gorgeous.

Nerida: I love the Hannah skirt, it goes with just about everything in my wardrobe and its such a nice length!

Tania: My favourite piece in the collection would have to be the sweet Joni dress. It’s such a stunning 70’s style dress! The perfect length dress for my little legs, it’s flattering and it’s so versatile.

5. Best styling tips this Autumn?
Tania: Layering- we’re approaching the cooler season but we might not want to give up wearing our playful dresses and overalls. A turtle neck or a plain tee underneath or even a vest over a basic tee will do the trick. As it gets cooler, layering a cosy coat or an oversized jumper will complete your outfit perfectly.

Accessories – I love accessorising my outfits with a nice chunky(ish) belt and/or an old school baker boy hat. It adds a 70’s vibe to your look which I absolutely adore. Socks!!They are so underrated. A pair of frilly socks peaking over your comfy boots and/or sneakers, or a pair under your clogs will re-characterise your outfit and it just creates a fun, happy feel to your day.
